Grabbing this book was the best decision I made. It is very rare that an author actually delivers variety in a short story collection. Dean Scott not only delivered a variety but ensures that you have a jolly good ride. The books is a potpourri of emotions, feelings, chaos, peace, love, passion, fear, etc. The list is endless. I experienced a myriad of emotions in a span of 6 hours. I was so much hooked into each story that I didn’t realize I had finished the book in one session. This is one of the rare books that I re-read right after my first reading.
There are certain stories that will tug at the strings of your heart and make you weep in silence. Yet there are some that will make you bite your nail in anticipation or gasp in horror. There is definitely” Something for Everyone”. Its like you ordered A la carte to suit your individual taste.
The author craft fully weaves stories that are not only engaging but also realistic. The characters are well defined and each plot has been dealt with perfection. My personal favorites are the Christmas story, the love story and the horror/thriller about a honeymoon couple.
Dean Scott is a master of words as each story is spun in such a way that you cannot put it down till you finish. Highly recommended for everyone who wish to experience many flavors in one scoop.
